Our Mission

Our mission as the "McLean Central Playground Team" is to help contribute to the playground areas at the McLean Central Park, to bring multigenerational fun for a wide range of ages, which will help build community in this area.​

We came together as a grass-roots group of local parent volunteers in 2021 with a common goal of seeing growth in our McLean community after discovering a need for outdoor play spaces for our children to gather and play. 

​

We are now working closely in partnership with Fairfax County Park Authority and Fairfax County Park Foundation to help with the planning and fundraising for a NEW McLean Central Park playground.
